Collective memories

Collective memories for the month of February

Saturday Haul

I actually have tons of items and products I want to post but unfortunately I haven't really took pictures of it. But here are the items I tots love from F21. I also received my new tapestry and I'm totally in love with it. Hm, I'm still trying to figure out how I'm going to put it in my room. But anyway, I'll definitely take a picture of the whole thing another time, so another sneak picture of my tapestry. xx

Cat Sequin Shirt: $11
Phone Case: $8

iPhone case crazed

HERE IS MY COLLECTION ... (DUN DUN DUN)

stop apologizing

I'm clearly obsessed with iPhone cases. I seriously can't help it. I've recently collaborated an idea with my boyfriend who's helping me create my own cases. We're basically designing it and who knows, if it goes pretty well, we can maybe sell it. But that's not the point, I just want to create something since I have a lot of cases already, I want to have a piece of his and my own handmade ones. I'm going to show a sneak peak of the cases I made. Basically I have two ideas, which one I will post next time I receive the clear iPhone cases. xx

Apologies to self

I'm so so so so sorry to myself because I haven't posted anything in the past couple weeks. I've been so busy with school and loads of work. I've managed to go out of course and hang out but I just haven't got around blogging. So let's do a little recap of my month(s): including February and March.

VSCOCam comes to Android

If you don't know by now, vscocam has become one of my favorite photography/filter app for my iphone 5. It's really simple and the quality is exactly what I expected it to be. I love using their tools and it's fun messing around with hues and such. So vscocam was just released on android and I was actually pretty excited about it. I don't own an android myself but my mom does so I've been testing it out. Androids don't really have good quality apps on google play so this is an exciting news for all android who have really good camera qualities. I hope you enjoyed my review. Well it's not really a review but yes, I do love the android version. It's crisp and easy to use like the iOS version. Thanks vscocam.

Here is my mom's android phone and she owns a Samsung Galaxy S4

Here are screenshots of vscocam on the S4

It's pretty much the same layout as the iOS version.

Here are some sample pictures I took from the S4 using the effects

NYX Cosmetics Haul

I started using NYX cosmetics recently and I'm currently loving them. My favorite products I have to say are the matte lipsticks, butter lipgloss, liquid eyeliner pen, and their eye shadows. First I'd like to talk about their matte lipsticks. I love them so much because they're so easy to use, like it glides on your lips perfectly. The ones I've been using are highly pigmented. They're great. The color I got was Merlot, which is a wine color and it's perfect for the fall and I got another color in Sierra, which is a pink-ish/coral color. They cost $6 each. Here are some swatches:

I usually don't wear lip glosses but I love MAC's lipglass and now I love NYX's buttergloss because like MAC's, it's not sticky and it doesn't feel weird on your lips and I hated that. The color I got was Creme brûlée and it's great because it does taste like it. Very sweet for $5

In the swatch, it does appear to look very pink but when you do put it on your lips, it looks very natural.

The next products are my all time favorite single eye shadows.
Top left: Silk $5
Top right: Golden Amber $5
Bottom left: nude matte eyeshadow in Skinny Dip $5
Bottom right: skin tone eye shadow base $7

I did use the NYX fine tip eyeliner pen for this photo.

Overall, I love NYX products because they're affordable and they're don't feel or look cheap. The prices range from $4-$15.
