MoMa Visits - 28/2/2014

You're probably wondering what my favorite piece is. Honestly, it's really hard to decide because there was just too much that was going on that day and some art pieces had so much going on too. The photography section was definitely an art form I can understand. I've taken art history in photography and a lot of photographs I saw at the exhibition was recognizable. Like Julia Margaret Cameron and Richard Avedon. If you haven't checked their artwork out, then definitely look them up. I can actually compare and contrast with their types of style. Julia Margaret Cameron has a blurry and soft focus style because she likes capturing the sense of their motion which connects to their emotions. She mostly photographed women.

Richard Avedon on the other hand takes portraits with a great focus on the details of the subject's faces. Either a wrinkle or a stain on a shirt, it sort of tells a story about the subject

Collective memories

Collective memories for the month of February

Saturday Haul

I actually have tons of items and products I want to post but unfortunately I haven't really took pictures of it. But here are the items I tots love from F21. I also received my new tapestry and I'm totally in love with it. Hm, I'm still trying to figure out how I'm going to put it in my room. But anyway, I'll definitely take a picture of the whole thing another time, so another sneak picture of my tapestry. xx

iPhone case crazed

HERE IS MY COLLECTION ... (DUN DUN DUN)

stop apologizing

I'm clearly obsessed with iPhone cases. I seriously can't help it. I've recently collaborated an idea with my boyfriend who's helping me create my own cases. We're basically designing it and who knows, if it goes pretty well, we can maybe sell it. But that's not the point, I just want to create something since I have a lot of cases already, I want to have a piece of his and my own handmade ones. I'm going to show a sneak peak of the cases I made. Basically I have two ideas, which one I will post next time I receive the clear iPhone cases. xx

Apologies to self

I'm so so so so sorry to myself because I haven't posted anything in the past couple weeks. I've been so busy with school and loads of work. I've managed to go out of course and hang out but I just haven't got around blogging. So let's do a little recap of my month(s): including February and March.

VSCOCam comes to Android

If you don't know by now, vscocam has become one of my favorite photography/filter app for my iphone 5. It's really simple and the quality is exactly what I expected it to be. I love using their tools and it's fun messing around with hues and such. So vscocam was just released on android and I was actually pretty excited about it. I don't own an android myself but my mom does so I've been testing it out. Androids don't really have good quality apps on google play so this is an exciting news for all android who have really good camera qualities. I hope you enjoyed my review. Well it's not really a review but yes, I do love the android version. It's crisp and easy to use like the iOS version. Thanks vscocam.

Here is my mom's android phone and she owns a Samsung Galaxy S4

Here are screenshots of vscocam on the S4

It's pretty much the same layout as the iOS version.

Here are some sample pictures I took from the S4 using the effects
