Happy Halloween!!!!!!

Oh Halloween. Although I didn't go out all dress as I planned to this year, I think I had a great day. This day made me think about how much I missed my childhood. I remember when I was seven, me and my cousins would go trick-or-treating in her apartment in Manhattan. We would actually all get dressed up and go around Stuyvesant town to get LOTS AND LOTS of candy. I would have a bag full of candies and other toys that they gave us.
Boy, that was so fun. Old style, I miss you. Nowadays you HAVE to make plans or tag along with someone to some party or like drink or something. ADULT style Halloween. There's actually nothing wrong with that, but I'm not ready for that =[ I NEED some candy or something.

Clemency: Merciful

Joel: It's, uh...It means "merciful." Right? Clemency?
Clementine: Although it hardly fits.
I'm a vindictive little bitch, truth be told.

Salvador Dali

I saw this clever photo taken of Salvador Dali. He's one my favorite artist and surrealist painter. I've seen a couple of his works. I think they're abstract to me. He was highly imaginative and weird behavior. I LAAIKE *thumbs up*
"Melting Clocks"

I realize I fall in love with a lot of things.

Good evening everyone. How's everyone doing in this fine night? I'm lovely. HAAAAH! Waiting for my lover to come home for some late night movie and talks

Fall: Cords

I'm actually not surprised that Cords are in this fall season. They're comfortable and durable especially in this global warming seasons we've been having. For October, it's pretty chilly out. But yeah CORDS! I love Urban Outfitters BDG corduroy pants. I actually have a cord jacket from my mom and I've been wearing it two years ago. It's comfy. I also saw Toms that are cords. They're pretty cute.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

Joel: I can't remember anything without you.
Clementine: That's sweet, but try.

Well, I've actually never wrote about films before. There would never be that great of a movie that would get me emotionally attached to. Talk about drama queen here. After watching this movie with my boyfriend earlier this year, I fell in love with it. This film isn't any other concise film. It actually took me a couple of times to watch it just to understand some parts. But that's what I love about it. It's a love story mixed with memories, pain, and emotional tragedy. While Joel (Jim Carrey), is trying to figure out why his girlfriend Clementine (Kate Winslet) erased him from her memories, he undergoes the same procedure that Clementine has done. While he undergoes the procedure of erasing his memories of her, he realizes that as it fades away, he was still in love with her, although she was impulsive. But little do they know that only through the process of loss that they discover what they had to begin with. I thought that whole idea was sweet. It just got me emotional how a relationship so sweet and innocent can turn out bitter and sour. But what I love about this movie is that them meeting each other was inevitable. Another great thing about this film is the director. The whole movie was shot in a creative way. Michael Gondry's work is amazing. Another great film of his is called, The Science of Sleep, another romantic film involving dreams and imagination.

How happy is the blameless vestal's lot!
The world forgetting, by the world forgot.
Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind!
Each pray'r accepted, and each wish resign'd;

- Eloisa to Abelard by Alexander Pope, the story of a tragic love affair, where forgetfulness became the heroine's only comfort

La Sardina

I fell inlove with Lomography's La Sardina cameras. There's this one called the La- Sardina Marathon. It's a 35 mm format. It's bright colors and wide eyed lens gives the photographs a vintage look. I think this is great. I mean there are a lot of other lomograpghy cameras like this, but I found this very cute. A camera that looks like a can of sardines? Clever. ha

HAHA! My day was I think successful. This whole rainy day was nice and it wasn't melancholy. It was super cold, I could actually see my breath. It smelled like autumn. I wish I had my camera to take a picture of the streets and the damp leaves on the floor. It was nice, very naize. Today felt so short, especially volleyball practice. I actually got all of my serves over, which I was surprised, because I used MY OWN method. I don't know today was pretty relaxing and plus my English teacher loves the sonnet that I did in 20 mins. NAIZE NAIZE! Okay, that's all for today.

My father

Well as you can see, this is an old photograph of my father with his siblings and his father. I sort of thought this picture looked funny because of how my dad used to look. He looks badass. Oh man, I miss the old days. But anyway, Happy birthday DAD! I know it's in two days, but have a great day. You may be getting old, but you'll always be young at heart. Love you

The Alexander McQueen Exhibit: Savage Beauty

This exhibit was far most the most extravagant and beautiful exhibit ever. The works that McQueen left are so abstract and relevant. Some that I've seen were actually pretty symbolic or either I saw Lady GaGa wear it.I love his works because they were just so astute.

OMGAD! D-SLR cameras. jokes

Free your mind?

What can it possibly mean? Not just the obvious, but what's your deeper definition for freeing your mind.

My definition: Opening your mind to new things.

Landscape

I'm trying to figure if this was taken by a film camera..
